Silverwood Place

Silverwood Place is a 48 unit Senior Adult Apartment Community located at 141 Silverwood Court, in Rincon, GA.

This project was planned and constructed with energy efficiency in mind. The last day final inspections (Monday, 25 March, 2013) provides a perfect example. The night before had two factors that made the difference:
• The lows overnight were in the mid to upper 30's
• The thermostats throughout the building were set to 50!
• When we arrived, we went through a number of units (interior, end, first floor, second floor, and third floor). After being under those conditions all evening, the temperatures in the units were between (lowest) 67 and (highest) 71! Highs were in the upper 60's to low 70's on Sunday. If the thermal protection was failing, those apartments would have been much colder that morning!

Fairway Construction (the General Contractor) and their sub-contractors, did an excellent job creating a beautiful, comfortable, and affordable place to live.

This beautiful project earned the EarthCraft Multifamily certification as well as the highest Multifamily Georgia Power Earthcents new home rebates!
